Courtney Thorne Smith was born on November 8, 1967. Her credits include Alison
Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to
Jim, and Lyndsey McElroy's role in Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in
San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Walter
Smith was her father and Lora Thorne was her mother. Both were computer-based
market researchers. Courtney aged seven years old at the time, separated from
her father, Walter Smith. She was a part of both of her parents in different
periods of time. Jennifer is her older sister is an executive in the field of
advertising. In 1985, she graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley,
California. In the high school, she also was a member of the Ensemble Theater
Company in Mill Valley. Thorne Smith was a part of her first film role in the
1986 film Lucas with Winona Ryder and Corey Haim. In the 80s, she appeared in a
variety of films, like Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II : Nerds in
Paradise (1987), Summer School (87) and Side Out (1990). She was in the role of
Carrot Top in 1998's box office failure, as Chairman of the Board. Thorne-Smith
was in Sorority Wars in 2009. Thorne Smith was a lover of Andrew Shue in the
1990s. He was her screen mate from Melrose Place. The actress got married to
geneticist Andrew Conrad in June 2000. The couple divorced in 2001. Roger
Fishman, the president of Zizo Group marketing and author of What I Know, was
her husband. The couple welcomed Jacob Emerson Fishman on January 11, 2008, at
40 years old.
