Emily Ratajkowski
American model and actress Emily O'Hara Ratajkowski was born on June 7th in 1991. Her birthplace was in London to American parents. She grew up in San Diego. Her first appearance on the cover of the March 2012 issue of erotic magazine was a treat! resulted in two music videos: Robin Thicke's "Blurred lines" and Maroon 5's "Love Someone". Ratajkowski appeared in the 2014 and 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit magazines. In 2015, she made her professional runway debut modeling alongside Marc Jacobs in New York Fashion Week. She has since been on the Paris Fashion Week runway for Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace runways. Ratajkowski is an advocate for Planned Parenthood, is a prominent advocate for women's health issues. She has declared herself a feminist, and has been criticised for her opinions regarding sexuality. Ratajkowski was exposed to the naked female characters in photography and art throughout her early years, and by her father's work as well as the photographs of Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts and Herb Ritts. This exposure helped her prepare for work in the nude genre. She said that "We are a society that men are watching pornographic films, and then are shocked by the classic nude photos or portraits." She was strongly inspired by Third-wave Feminism as well as works such as The Beauty Myth and Promiscuities, Naomi Wolf.
